Ivory Ridge Splash Pad

This is my new favorite splash pad for two reasons. First it has a huge covered pavilion with about twelve big tables so you can sit in the shade. Second it is small enough that you can see the entire thing from the shaded tables so you can watch your kids the whole time without having to move. We like to bring our lunch and eat and then I can feed the baby while keeping an eye on both of the older kids. They have clean restrooms with a diaper changing station. There is also a playground on the other side of the pavilion. You can see the whole playground from the tables as well. Riverton City Park is our favorite park. This is a huge and beautiful park with so many things to do. This park has so much green space to run and play any sport or fly a kite on a windy day. There are several covered pavilions and clean bathrooms. This park has three separate playgrounds. There is a small splash pad for cooling off in the summer. Jordan River Rotary Park

Jordan River Rotary Park in Draper is another park I really like. This park is located at the Jordan River Parkway Trailhead. It is a perfect place to stop and play after a walk or bike ride on the trail. The playground is wheelchair accessible. The ramp also makes it easy for little kids to get on the playground without having to climb stairs. The playground has lots of slides and two swings. The park has 4 individual covered pavilions with tables to sit at. It also has clean restrooms. The address for this park is 973 W 12300 S Draper Utah.

Salt Lake County Libraries

For me one of the best things about moving to Salt Lake county was being able to get a Salt Lake county library card. If you live in Salt Lake county and don't have a library card you should go get one right away. With your library card you are able to check things out from all 18 Salt Lake libraries. Between all of these libraries you can find pretty much any book, movie, t.v. series, etc you can think of. The best thing about it is you can do it all online. Just go to their  website  and create an account. Once you have an account you can find whatever you want to check out and request to hold it. Once you request to hold something they will send it to the library of your choice to be picked up and then they will email you when it is ready. This makes is so quick and easy to just pick out anything you want online and then go in and pick it up when it is ready without having to search the shelves for anything.
